Laying turf takes an afternoon. What you are paying for is everything that happens before it.
Turfing is quoted on area, ground preparation, access and disposal. Preparation is the largest variable by a considerable margin, which is why two gardens of the same size can be quoted very differently.
We do not publish a fixed price list for turfing, because ground preparation varies far more between gardens than the turf itself does. What we can do is explain what changes the number.

Because the ground underneath differs. Laying onto prepared soil is quick; clearing rubble, importing topsoil and levelling is not.
